At Atomarine we're building floating data centers on platforms powered by nuclear ships at sea. The unprecedented demand for compute and power will have tens of gigawatts of shortfall by 2030. Utility interconnection queues are approaching a decade, and local resource competition pushes up prices for electricity and rent, and makes water access scarce. Local communities can't support these projects, and their opposition has stopped more than half of planned projects since 2025. Compute cannot scale the way it needs to onshore. We solve this by moving data center campuses offshore, far away from communities. Its modular architecture allows for scalable deployment anywhere on Earth, and requires far less overbuild than onshore developments, achieving competitive power prices and essentially free cooling. The standardized design and centralized construction on a single manufacturing line remove the need to relocate skilled labor for each new project or obtain separate regulatory licensing for each site. This way, compute can deploy 4x faster than on land, with a much tighter budget and deliverability. 70% of the Earth is ocean. Atomarine unlocks it. Find out more at atomarine.co.
